Spinach, Pineapple & Ginger Smoothie

Whilst the ingredients in this smoothie might sound like a strange mix, it is in fact, delicious! More importantly, with the season of coughs and colds nearly upon us, it's a great way to get your daily dose of vitamin C along with some anti-inflammatories and antioxidants to keep you match fit!



It includes:

Pineapple a natural diuretic with vitamin C and enzymes that target parasites

Ginger & turmeric are both natural anti-inflammatories and antioxidants

Spinach is filled with powerful antioxidant properties and fibre


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple juice

  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon

  • Handful of fresh spinach leaves

  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger (adjust to taste)

  • 1/4 tsp tumeric


Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or Nutribullet

  2. Give it a whizz up until everything is combined

  3. Drink and enjoy!
